God’s promises

The very fact about Christianity is that its not a bed of roses. This sentence is countlessly said and warned to people but  yet again and again,we failed to recognize this fact. We often turn our ears from this truth and we blame it for the failed of deliverance of God’s promises. And we claim that God is not real, God is not tangible and he’s unfaithful.

The fact is this, God warn us again and again that this race is tough. He’s our shield of faith. Why do you need a shield when you don’t get attack? Why do you need faith when you can evidently see God ? We’re already warn in the beginning of the attacks.That’s why, he made covenants. That’s why he made promises.

And the reason for our struggles is not to disprove God of his promises to us.

The reason for God’s promises is that in times of struggles, he can fulfill his promise.

Not a promise of problem-free life, but a promise of deliverance in a problems-full life.

That’s the reason for the covenants.

hello people!

as the guilt’s and thoughts drives into my mind when random person X asked me about my blog, I realise that I haven’t been blogging for months! Gosh!

Well, hopefully, this will be another revival

As the year 2008 comes to an end , soon. This year has really been an eventful year. From the beginning of the year, numerous ess, camps , events and stuff. It’s really memorable. I will soon update a post of my thanksgiving points and my new year resolution.  So stay tune, for more updates (:

Today West-E had our prayermeet led by Jiaen (: Great job ! I believe that God is doing a great job in the lives of all the brothers in cck zone. God put the same word in the heart of all the people present today and the word is ‘refuge’. Isn’t it cool or cool? I believe that God wants to restores the hearts of all the people in the unit. God is our deliverance’s. The battle is not our own, is his. He will fight and he’ll get the ultimate victory. Therefore, as his vessel, we find out refuge in him. Our strength , Our refuge, Our everlasting presence.

Just to sidetrack, the group has been growing for the past 5 months. In oasis camp, we got a caregroup with a strength of 7. At that time, I’ll never dream of having 3 caregroupsnow! God is faithful with us! Therefore we should not be discourage by the fact that we’re shrinking now. If God is faithful, we hold our faith in him. If we’re faithful to God in his ministry, God will have faith in us to entrust his flocks under our care. For the past months, it’s been miraculous how we broke our goal countless times. When our goal is 20, we hit 26. When our goal is 30, we hit 33. When our goal is 40, we hit 47 ! And there’s so many life-transformation happening in the lives of all the people! thank God!

I’m still believing that the glory of the present house is greater than the gloryof the former house !

As we march into a new beginning, WE keep faith in God. 50 by end of june ! West-E , the name itself gave its identity. hahah. WE are one! As a unit, WE live and WE advance as one.

Victorious. God’s kingdom advances forcfully and Christians are meant to be victorious. The cross is our victory

Influence. Created to be salt and light. to influence and make changes

Relationship. Nothings take the first thing in our heart except the relationship with God. Nothings take the second place in our heart except the relationship with the group.

50, we’ll advance! I’ll lay down my life for this.

From the day of john the baptist until then, the kingdom of heaven had been advancing forcefully and forceful men lay hold of it !

Scanty updates

Hey all !

It’s been soooo long since I entered into this site And yet, I enter in such a weird timing. 6 am ? I guess It’s my sudden adrenaline rush that brought me to a run and here I am!

I wanted to blog since 100 years ago. But well , pratical action now is still the best !

Just last week, I’m in the Hongkong Leadership conference. It really blew my mind off for the Great Commission. It seem like a wake up call for me because my mind is so narrow for CG08 and yet , we’re struggling to complete it. CG08 is nothing compares to winning the world. Our calling is for the world. Now, it’s simply a training ground for us. If we can’t even complete CG08, we’re pathetic. We need to get burn up and complete the schools we’re lacking behind. And I’m convicted to do it. If not, we can forget about winning the world God. If you want to live Big, Start Small.

If you want to Live for Great commision, Starts with CG08.

Oasis Camp !

Well, I know that I’m ‘abit’ late. Because It took me so long to create this wordpress!

Today, I want to refine my motives in doing things. Not for fame, recognition and praises.

I desire to be a blessing , A blessing for God’s kingdom.

Reflection after Oasis Camp.

Oasis Camp was awesome! It definitely increased my spiritual stamina drastically ! Last saturday, While Pastor Shirley was preaching, myself and the entire West-A one guys didn’t even realise that 45minutes of preaching was over!

Tips: Preparation before camp was well done ! Fasting and Praying to increase out desire. Heart condition to allow God to speak. Submissive attitude to allow God to mould.

All these was done, to prepare for the 4 days and 3 nights of indulgence in the spirit and the word.

Well, same as every others did, all my camp objectives were met ! But this camp, it’s very different. Because I went into the camp with a whole new group of guys who is the first time going for camp and I’m seriously amazed at how God had changed peoples’ lives. The highlight wasn’t on how much I had learnt and received. But rather, what God had placed and stirred in my heart.

1) The anchor man of Great commision.

2) Brother’s ministry should group.

I’m so so convicted about fulfilling the great commission in my lifetime. I don’t believe that that will be done by other people nor other generations. I want to be selfish for God. For this thing that came out from Jesus mouth, ’The Great Commision’. This time, I want ME, to play a big part in it.

I can don’t participate in other activities or events. But not this…

A Finisher of the Great commision.

If we’re called to win the battles,

If we’re made the head never the tail,

If we’re being planned to be prosper and successful,

In God,

How are we going to make decision with this winning mindset ? we won’t be losers anymore struggling in our tiny sin. We won’t struggles to lead our group when people don’t respond. We won’t be a fool without directions in our lives. Because at the end, We’ll be victorious. Completing Cg08. Fulfilling the Great Commision. We’re the anchor man. We’re the winners. We’re the finisher. That’s why, we’ll make decision to be a part of this victory.

As for the brother’s ministry, God dropped upon my heart a strong burden.

Guys should set example.

Guys should be excited.

Guys should grow.

Guys must take lead.

Seriously it’s not that I despise female and I’m male domineering. If you know me personally, I’m okay with working with females. But just that, the situation must turn it tide. Guys was created to lead.

The truth is that we’re becoming more and more passive.

I’m burden for it.

I’m burden to change the culture.

I’m burden at ratio of guys.

And God placed this spark in my heart during camp that, Strong and Biblical Guys will rise up to take their place. And I want to play a part to build strong and biblical brothers. Discipleship !

I have faith that this culture will change. Neither will it remain. Let’s strike a balance in guys and girls ratio. 1:1

In all, The fellowship was great with a bunch of youngsters in my group. hahah. Especially when God’s presence was so significant in camp. Everyone was bond when God is in the center of the friendship. I enjoyed their accompaion.

All in all. This camp was a blast ! God is moving something! 6 Visitors tommrow ! wooo!

Fellowship of the unashamed.

My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear.

I won’t give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I’ve preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.

I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. And when He comes, He will have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear. “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.”
